HOW MUCH CONTROL DO I HAVE WITH A LICENSING AGREEMENT?

When looking into a licensing agreement, you have more control over day-to-day operations, versus a franchise with a lot of red tape. At Break Room 405, our licensees are buying into a proven system. The licensee maintains our standards and is the face of the company in their individual market. We give our licensees the creative freedom to set promotions, special schedules, themed days and ideas that will make the brand more successful. Licensees also have complete control over managing staff, hiring, scheduling and terminations.

WHAT SUPPORT DOES THE LICENSOR PROVIDE?

As soon as you sign a licensing agreement with Break Room 405, our team starts right away to provide you with all of the tools, knowledge and contacts we know for a quick jump start! Our support team is available via email, Zoom, phone and in-person, to provide ongoing assistance throughout the entire licensing period.

WHAT INITIAL & ON-GOING TRAINING IS PROVIDED?

We offer an all-inclusive initial training program, starting with on-site training at an existing Break Room 405 location while your building is being prepared. The initial training is conducted by the founders of Break Room 405 and covers everything you need to successfully open and operate. This includes, but is not limited to – grand opening, social media and website marketing, day-to-day operations, vendor onboarding, hiring and training employees, completion of all legal and financial documentation and more. We provide a full, step-by-step manual that comprises all aspects of the business. Ongoing training opportunities will be available as the brand expands and innovates along the way!

WILL I GET ANY HELP MANAGING MY STAFF?

Yes, Break Room 405 provides licensees with tools and resources for employee recruitment and engagement as well as the hiring and firing process. The founder was in Human Resources for 20 years! However, licensees are solely responsible for managing their employees.

DOES THE LICENSOR PROVIDE ANY MARKETING SUPPORT?

As a Break Room 405 licensee, you will receive dedicated and continuous marketing support from the licensor. We manage and constantly update your website, digital marketing and social media campaigns for you to stay current and appealing to your customers.

HOW MUCH WILL I NEED TO INVEST TO OPEN A BREAK ROOM LOCATION?

To be considered for a Break Room 405 licensing opportunity, you must have a minimum net worth of $250,000 and at least $100,000 of liquid assets. The average total investment to open a Break Room location ranges from $100,000 – $300,000.

IS THERE A LICENSING FEE?

Yes, the licensing fee is $30,000.

HOW MUCH ARE THE ROYALTIES?

Break Room 405 collects a royalty of just 6.00%, off the top of all gross income – exclusive of payment processing fees. Royalties are deducted automatically from bookings and other sales made through our online booking system and in-house purchases.

IS FINANCING AVAILABLE FOR THE STARTUP COSTS?

We do not provide financing for any portion of your startup costs. However, we can direct you to several reputable third-party financing contacts with available options to qualified licensees.

WHAT WILL I EARN AS A LICENSOR?

We can’t predict or promise how much you’ll earn owning a licensed Break Room location, however, we can provide you with information on our business model and show rising trends of how successful it has grown thus far.
